Drop your artwork
A print file on the front, and on the back if you have one. The trim sets the size, and named spot colors become foil, spot UV and emboss plates.

Choose the card
Pick a stock and caliper, single, duplex or triplex, and an edge. The Finish tab stacks foils, reliefs and coatings on the plates.

Set the scene
Flip through the lighting, scene, layout and motion presets. Lock what you like and shuffle the rest, or drop a photo of your own desk.

Export
Save a still, the two faces, a loop or a spec sheet for the printer, or make an interactive embed to send a client.

Drop a PDF, an Illustrator file, an SVG or a picture on the front and another on the back. A print file's trim sets the card's size, and its spot colors and layers — Foil, Spot UV, Emboss, a die line — become finish plates on their own, so 6 pt type stays registered through the emboss. A plain picture works too: pick a color on the card to make it a plate, or upload a mask for any finish.
The stock is a real one — coated, cotton, linen, kraft, black-through, pearlescent, metal, acrylic, wood — at a caliper printers sell, single, duplex or triplex with a colored core, and the edge can be painted or gilded. Seven preset categories — material, finish, lighting, scene, arrangement, motion and camera — each change only themselves, so you can flip through lights while a card turns and lock the ones you like. A combination no printer could make is allowed, and the tool says so where it happens and in what you export.

A card, not a flat picture
Caliper, plies and edge finish are real geometry. Emboss and letterpress move both faces, so the back of a single-ply card shows the bite through.
Presets that stay in their lane
Material, finish, lighting, scene, arrangement, motion and camera each have their own strip. Shuffle the unlocked ones, and none of them ever changes another.
Studios, desks and your own photo
Lighting looks from a soft studio to jewelry light and blacklight, tabletops from oak to velvet with a pen or a card holder, and your own photo as the backdrop with its angle, horizon and grain matched.
Arrangements in motion
Stacks, fans, scatters and a card leaning on a stack, with flips, spins, a stack building and cards falling through real air. Every motion loops without a seam.
Exports for the whole job
A still at up to 4×, the front and back on their own, a loop as video, GIF or PNG frames, a printer's spec sheet, and one HTML file a client can turn in their hand.

Is Business Card Studio free?
Yes. Every stock, finish, preset and export is free with no sign-up and no watermark. Everything runs in your browser, so your files stay on your computer.
Which files can I drop?
PDF and Illustrator files saved with PDF compatibility, SVG, PNG, JPEG, WebP and TIFF. A PDF's layers and spot colors are read, so foil, spot UV, emboss and die lines map on their own.
Can it show a card a printer cannot make?
Yes, on purpose. A short note appears by the control when a combination cannot be made, and it travels with the export — in the still's metadata and on the spec sheet.
How do I save my own presets?
Save one from the Presets tab. Your own presets are kept with the project in your ProDesigner account, so saving one needs a free account.
How big is the interactive embed?
Its size is shown before you download it. A single card is under 1 MB and a fan of foiled cards about 1.5 MB, in one HTML file that opens in any browser.
