How to use it

    Press Open folder

    Or drop a folder on the page. Everything in it is queued and keeps rendering while you scroll. Add files adds more to the same view.

    Filter and sort

    Narrow by format with Vector, Raster, CAD or Fonts, or by name, and sort by Name, Newest first or Largest first.

    Pick a background

    Transparent, White or Paper. Line art reads differently on each, and for clip art the paper is usually the truest preview.

    Use the timeline

    Open a file full screen and drag along the strip at the bottom to flick through the folder. Info shows the format, the size and what the file was drawn with.

    Press Open in…

    The file you are looking at goes straight to the tool that works on it. Color reduction for an SVG, the background remover for a photo, the vectorizer for a scan.

About this tool

Drop a whole folder in and every file in it is thumbnailed at once, each drawn on your device from the file's own geometry. Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every feature and every export is free, with no account and no watermark. An account is optional and only keeps your projects so you can reopen them on another device.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser and your files stay on your device. The only thing that leaves it is a project you choose to save to your account.

Can it open old Illustrator files?

Yes. Files from before Illustrator 9 are PostScript inside and are drawn from that. Newer ones carry a PDF and are drawn from the PDF.

Does it change my files?

No. Nothing is written back and nothing leaves your device. Open in… hands a copy to another tool, and the original stays where it is.

How many files can it handle?

Whole folders. Thumbnails render in the background and are cached, so the second visit is instant.
