How to use it

Drop a clip
MP4, MOV or WebM. The first frame appears with Start (s), End (s), Frames per second and Size under it. Trim the range to what you need; time scales with the frame count.

Pick the Subject
Auto for most clips, People for a person on camera, Flat for a plain backdrop or a green screen. Click needs a point on each frame, so it is off for video.

Press Preview this frame
One frame is cut out at once so you can judge the edge before the whole clip runs. Change the Subject setting and preview again.

Press Process frames…
Every frame from Start to End is cut out and smoothed across time. The count says how long the rest will take; scrub or Play to check the edge.

Choose an export
Frames (PNG, zip) keep their transparency. Video (WebM) sits on the backdrop color you chose. Matte video (WebM) goes into an editor as the alpha.

Is it free?
Yes. Every feature and every export is free, with no account and no watermark. An account is optional and only keeps your projects so you can reopen them on another device.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser and your files stay on your device. The only thing that leaves it is a project you choose to save to your account.
Can I get a transparent video?
Browsers cannot yet encode a video with transparency, so the tool gives you transparent PNG frames and a matte, which every editor can use. A video export sits on the color you choose.
How long can the clip be?
As long as you like. Time scales with the number of frames, and the tool tells you how long it expects to take as it goes.
Which Subject setting for a green screen?
Flat. It keys a plain, even backdrop without a model, so it is instant on every frame. Raise the tolerance if patches survive.
